What we do
Less motion, if you ask for less motion. Every animation on this site asks your system setting; if it says “reduce motion”, we show the same thing as a still image — no zoom, no travel, no fading in.
Text on images is calculated, not guessed. Wherever text sits on a photograph, we measure the contrast at the actual spot and lay a veil underneath where it is needed.
Anything you can click, you can also tap and reach with the keyboard. The route button in the footer and the questions on the directions page open with mouse, finger and keyboard alike; that was tested on purpose.
The map is decoration and marked as such: what it shows also stands beside it as text — address, directions, driving time.
What we have tested
In October 2026 we went through the site with an automatic testing tool at phone and desktop widths, and walked the keyboard path on the main pages. We fixed the errors we found.
If you have found a barrier all the same, write to us or call us.
Report a barrier
Write to office@hotel-allmer.at or call us. Tell us which page, and what does not work — we will answer and tell you what we can do.
The standard we are measured against
Since 28 June 2025 the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG) applies, implementing European Directive 2019/882. As the technical standard we use the European norm EN 301 549; for web content this corresponds to WCAG 2.1, levels A and AA.
We test every page of this site automatically against WCAG 2.1, levels A and AA — for contrast, labels, roles and heading structure, at desktop width and on the phone. The run of 22 September 2026 across all 59 pages reports no remaining violation. It led us to fix 40 contrast issues on the wedding packages, where the type on the coloured cards was set too faintly.
If we cannot help you
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the market surveillance authority for digital accessibility at the Sozialministeriumservice. The office responsible is the Upper Austria branch:

Abteilung OÖ6, Gruberstraße 63, 4021 Linz
The authority's reporting form — it also lists what details a report needs to contain.
And the house itself?
This statement is about the website. For access to the house itself — entrance, lift, rooms, restaurant — please ask us directly: two minutes on the phone settle it, and more reliably than one sentence on a page could.
